THE JOB:
As a Gourmet Food Server for Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio, you will guide our guests through an extraordinary, four-star culinary journey, orchestrating a dining experience that matches the legendary elegance of the Bellagio Fountains just outside our windows. Going far beyond the seamless art of taking orders and managing tables with meticulous attention to detail, you will act as a passionate, highly knowledgeable storyteller of our award-winning menu of premium steaks, seafood, and refined culinary pairings. By collaborating in flawless harmony with your service team to maintain an immaculate, sophisticated dining room environment, your polished poise and intuitive, world-class hospitality will turn an elegant evening into a breathtaking and unforgettable masterpiece of dining.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Five years of experience as a Food Server in a Fine Dining, Ultra-Luxury, or similar upscale restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of Wines, Spirits, and other liquor preferred
