Accountabilities:

    The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial strategy and operational decision-making by providing accurate analysis, actionable insights, and strong partnership across key business functions.

    • Serve as a dedicated FP&A partner for leaders across product, engineering, business development, analytics, and other strategic teams by providing financial guidance and decision support.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis activities to ensure stakeholders have visibility into financial performance, risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
    • Translate business priorities into financial plans, resource allocation recommendations, and measurable operating targets.
    • Manage acquisition spend analysis, including monitoring spend performance, evaluating investment effectiveness, and supporting analysis of customer acquisition efficiency and unit economics.
    • Build and maintain financial models supporting forecasting, headcount planning, vendor evaluations, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
    • Support the optimization and governance of enterprise performance management tools and financial planning processes.
    • Deliver executive-ready reporting and insights that explain financial results, highlight trends, and recommend actions.
    • Analyze strategic initiatives, business tradeoffs, growth opportunities, and operational improvements to support informed decision-making.
    • Improve FP&A processes, reporting tools, and planning methodologies to increase accuracy, efficiency, and business impact.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate investments and ensure alignment between financial outcomes and company priorities.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, business judgment, and experience partnering with cross-functional leaders. You bring expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and strategic analysis, with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly.

      • 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical finance role.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or another quantitative discipline.
      • Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investment evaluation.
      • Experience developing financial models and analyzing business performance metrics.
      • Experience with enterprise performance management software; familiarity with Anaplan is strongly preferred.
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
      • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Business Development, Growth, Marketing, or Data Science.
      • Experience in property and casualty insurance is strongly preferred.
      • Familiarity with acquisition spend analysis, LTV/CAC metrics, growth investments, or marketing efficiency analysis.
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
      • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, curiosity, and a continuous improvement approach.
      • Ability to navigate ambiguity, evaluate tradeoffs, and provide recommendations in a rapidly evolving environment.
