Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Description Summary:
Conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Executes tests according to established plans & scripts, logs problems, retests software corrections,. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records, drafts and revises test plans and scripts. Creates and executes automation scripts.

Responsibilities:
Participate in test planning
Create test cases
Execute pre-defined test cases and document results
Report and track basic software bugs under supervision
Assist in maintaining a QA environment
Perform initial verification of bug fixes
Support the preparation of test data
Assist in the documentation and reporting of testing processes
Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Develop a basic understanding of the software being tested
Liaise with developers for bug resolution
Follow standard QA practices and methodologies
Skills:
Has computer science background with programming experience through coursework or internship
Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and document defects
Basic Test Case Execution: Understanding of how to execute and document test cases
Bug Reporting Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
Communication: Clear written and verbal skills to report bugs and test results
Basic Software Understanding: Introductory knowledge of the software under test
Time Management: Ability to complete assigned tasks within deadlines
Basic Documentation: Skills to document test results and bugs correctly
Collaboration: Work effectively within a team set up
