Associate -Oracle Technical Developer (HCM)

The Colleague Services (CS) organization within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG - also known as Human Resources) at American Express plays a critical role in providing the outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. We build, run, and evolve the incredible platforms, products and services that enable colleagues to do their best work every single day.

This role will report to the Manager of Digital Product Solution Design within CS. As part of this team, you will be developing and maintaining OTBI Reports, BI report, and Dashboards for learning assignments in Oracle HCM Cloud. You will partner with HR operations, product, and Technology engineering to unlock the full potential of our HR systems.

  • BI report, Dashboards, HCM Extracts using Oracle HCM Cloud reporting tools and technologies for Oracle Learn, Talent, Core HR and Oracle Recruiting Cloud modules.
  • Monitor and debug issue with learning assignment and access groups in Oracle learn module.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud reports, dashboard & RTF’s.
  • Staying up to date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud releases, updates, and features.
  • Investigation and resolution of system and technical errors. Troubleshoot systems and data and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures.
  • Collaborate with CEG teams, Technology and other partners supporting roadmaps and looking for process improvements with our Oracle HCM products.
  • 4+ years’ experience as technical developer for Oracle Learn module.
  • Strong technical skills in Oracle HCM Cloud, including expertise in Fast Formula, Complex OTBI’s, BI report, Templates, Dashboards, HCM Extracts.
  • A good balance of business acumen and technical knowledge with a proven track record of driving platform changes with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to push the boundaries of existing technologies and processes.
  • Good understanding of HR business processes, HR data models, and HR industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and integration concepts. 

  • Experience with Oracle AI Agent Studio or AI-enabled HCM capabilities.
