Accountabilities:
- Manage a portfolio of assigned donors by developing and executing individualized engagement and stewardship strategies.
- Build and maintain strong donor relationships through personalized communication, including meetings, calls, written updates, and virtual interactions.
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate prospective major and planned gift donors to expand long-term funding opportunities.
- Develop and implement Moves Management strategies to guide donors through progressive stages of engagement and giving.
- Prepare tailored proposals, funding requests, and impact communications aligned with donor interests and organizational priorities.
- Maintain accurate donor records and engagement tracking within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Collaborate with internal teams to align donor engagement with program updates, communications, and impact storytelling.
- Represent the organization at regional events, donor meetings, and engagement activities, including occasional travel domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, major gift development, sales, or relationship management roles.
- Strong ability to build trust-based relationships and engage diverse stakeholders through excellent communication skills.
- Experience managing portfolios, developing engagement strategies, and achieving fundraising or revenue targets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar donor/data management platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Willingness to travel regionally (25–30%) and occasionally internationally as required.
- CFRE certification or progress toward certification is considered an asset.
- Salary range: $80,649 – $90,730 annually
