RAD Business Systems Analyst

At GEICO, our Research, Analytics and Development (RAD) team leverages data, technology, analytics, and AI-enabled automation to drive innovation and support strategic business decisions. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will serve in a critical role working closely with business leaders and engineering teams to refine business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions while identifying opportunities to use AI tools to automate business processes, improve reporting, and streamline requirements, testing, and delivery activities.

Customer Interaction:
Partner with stakeholders and lead cross-functional communication
Present updates clearly and build trusted relationships
Needs Assessment:
Gather, document, and refine business and system requirements
Translate needs into user stories, workflows, and improvement opportunities
Use AI tools to support requirements gathering, documentation, workflow analysis, and automation opportunities across business processes
Problem Resolution:
Analyze issues, test solutions, and identify opportunities to use AI to create test plans, automate test cases, and improve solution validation
Support troubleshooting and validate fixes
Meaningful Impact:
Apply AI-enabled automation to improve business processes, data analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency
Improve operations through data-driven solutions
Promote data standards and Agile progress
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience using AI tools to support business process automation, including requirements of documentation, workflow improvements, test planning, test case automation, data analysis, and reporting.
Experience eliciting and documenting functional system requirements in partnership with project stakeholders.
Experience developing test plans, creating and executing QA or automated test scripts, and validating system functionality through regression and scenario-based testing.
Core Skills:
Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, a strong analytical ability, and a willingness to respond to ad hoc requests from customers in a timely manner.
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, perform under pressure, and multi-task.
Preferred Skills:
Candidate with or pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field/equivalent experience is preferred.
Prior experience in insurance and knowledge on insurance products
Agile/SAFE certifications.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile project management practices.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle.
Knowledge of Data Management concepts, including data modeling, architecture, and data governance.
Working knowledge of SQL is preferred
Coding experience and the utilization of AI in code generation for the purpose of creating user interfaces and business support logic.
Annual Salary
$64,575.00 - $129,150.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
