Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Client Partner – Public Sector is responsible for leading DXC’s relationships with assigned Singapore public sector accounts that represent significant growth potential. As the primary executive responsible for the account, the Client Partner orchestrates DXC resources across sales, solutioning, delivery, and industry teams to achieve revenue growth, increase account value, and strengthen long-term client partnerships.

This role is pivotal in driving client success, deepening stakeholder relationships across government agencies and public sector organizations, and delivering DXC’s revenue and growth objectives across the full portfolio of DXC offerings. The individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring successful execution of account strategies, renewals, business development initiatives, and client satisfaction programs.

Key Performance Indicators

The effectiveness of the Client Partner role will be measured by:

Revenue growth – meeting or exceeding assigned net revenue growth objectives.

TCV/ABR production – securing bookings that contribute to in-year revenue and future backlog.

Margin performance – achieving profitability targets across assigned accounts.

DSO – meeting targets for timely payment collection from customers.

Client satisfaction (NPS/VoC) – ensuring customer feedback is measured, reviewed, and actioned.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Account Expansion

  • Drive meaningful revenue growth across assigned Singapore public sector accounts through expansion of existing services and acquisition of new opportunities.

  • Deliver revenue growth targets across DXC’s portfolio, including applications, cloud, analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure, workplace services, and managed services.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with client priorities and DXC growth objectives.

  • Maintain forecasting accuracy and provide regular updates on pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance.

Opportunity Origination & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned accounts.

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through account expansion, cross-selling, upselling, and new service adoption.

  • Support and lead public sector pursuits, RFPs, tenders, and framework opportunities in collaboration with solutioning and bid teams.

  • Position DXC competitively within the public sector landscape and differentiate DXC’s value proposition against competitors.

Revenue Retention & Renewals

  • Lead contract renewal and retention strategies to protect and expand existing revenue streams.

  • Engage clients proactively to identify risks and ensure long-term account sustainability.

  • Ensure successful renewal outcomes while increasing overall account value and customer commitment.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with government agencies, statutory boards, and public sector stakeholders.

  • Establish strong engagement with business, procurement, technology, and senior leadership decision-makers.

  • Leverage DXC executive sponsors to strengthen strategic alignment and client engagement.

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for overall client success and relationship management.

Account Leadership & Governance

  • Provide executive leadership and governance for major pursuits, account reviews, and customer engagements.

  • Lead structured account planning, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and executive governance meetings.

  • Coordinate cross-functional DXC teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and commitments.

  • Support successful delivery outcomes through close partnership with delivery and operational leaders.

Client Experience & Satisfaction

  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive engagement, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure Voice of Customer (VoC) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback is regularly reviewed and acted upon.

  • Promote long-term client trust through consistent delivery excellence and business value realization.

Market & Industry Insight

  • Maintain deep understanding of Singapore public sector priorities, procurement processes, digital transformation initiatives, and technology trends.

  • Identify ways DXC can support government modernization, digital services, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, data, and citizen-centric outcomes.

  • Stay informed of industry developments to strengthen DXC’s value proposition and account growth strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 to 15 years of client-facing sales, account management, business development, or consulting experience within IT services, system integration, or technology consulting environments.

  • Proven track record of managing and growing large client accounts, achieving revenue growth targets, and expanding account relationships.

  • Experience selling or managing end-to-end IT services, including applications, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, managed services, or digital transformation solutions.a

  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.

  • Strong understanding of strategic account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial management.

  • Experience leading complex pursuits, proposals, tenders, or large-scale technology engagements.

  • Knowledge of Singapore public sector procurement processes, government agencies, and technology priorities is highly preferred.

  • Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results within a matrixed organization.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience within an established IT services, consulting, or system integration organization is preferred.

  • Relevant sales, account management, or public sector certifications are advantageous.
