Project Administrator - RCM - Acquisition/Conversion Support (WFH)

Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Project Administrator to join our team!
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST
This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham, NC locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
The RCM Mergers and Acquisition team represents RCM in strategic initiatives for the Labcorp Diagnostics business. The team coordinates all RCM activities to integrate customers and volumes to Labcorp systems.
Project work involves heavy collaboration with IT, multiple disciplines, leadership and external counterparts to support the integration end to end, devise/test workflows, propagate best practice and re-align solutions where needed.
The Administrator role supports more complex projects and can evaluate the business and scope of the integration to devise alternate solutions when needed to transition volumes LCLS/LCBS for billing. This role also balances multiple complex projects, mentor others and drive departmental efficiencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads more complex projects and all related integration activities; managing tasks more autonomously.
- Serves as the enterprise RCM liaison for each project and reports status to stakeholders and RCM leadership.
- Coordinates all RCM tasks and RCM input towards development of solutions to align projects to Labcorp standards or solution for new processes to support unique project demands.
- Involved in building workflows or interfaces where alternate solutions are required to integrate.
- Signal revenue delays, loss or impacts related to workflow and or, licensing/enrollment nuances.
- Provide support for phased or prior projects to achieve stability and/or convert interim solutions to permanent solutions.
- Engage with multiple disciplines and external counterparts to conduct Due Diligence, obtain seller data and write/submit diligence reports, highlight considerations and risks and model for RCM resource needs.
- Compile communications and a gaps analysis for each transaction to educate towards impacts.
- Maintain project transparency to both RCM and affected functional areas to achieve readiness with workflows and staffing.
- Coordinate Client and Payer Cross reference mapping to publish for each transaction.
- Monitor for issues, risks, address project deviations and escalate significant items to leadership or signal for sales awareness and client education.
- Communicate overall project health towards sustainability.
- Initiate corrective measures for errors or inconsistencies (ie, re-invoicing, refunds, etc).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree with 7 years project oriented experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of project oriented experience
Ability to travel as necessary (<20%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: .
Preferred experience with LCLS and LCBS for understanding of systems or healthcare billing experience. Ability to lead projects with greater complexity and multiples.
Able to evaluate business structures, workflows and project strategy, to identify risks or synergies and can work effectively to make recommendations and initiate, guide or refine billing solutions for the most favorable outcomes.
