You will lead on-site crews, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to exact technical specifications. You will lead on-site crews, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to exact technical specifications. Accountabilities:

    • Lead on-site AV installation crews of up to 5 technicians, assigning tasks, setting workflow pace, and ensuring quality standards are met.
    • Install, terminate, and commission commercial AV systems including displays, speakers, cameras, projection systems, LED walls, and conference room solutions.
    • Manage on-site materials including receiving, tracking, inventory control, and reporting throughout project execution.
    • Produce detailed daily field reports covering project progress, technical issues, crew performance, and material status.
    • Coordinate directly with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and installation requirements.
    • Identify and escalate scope gaps, site challenges, or technical issues early to prevent delays and rework.
    • Represent the organization professionally on every job site, ensuring strong client-facing communication and execution standards.
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of hands-on commercial AV installation experience in field environments.
      • Proven experience leading small to mid-sized technical crews on active job sites.
      • Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage systems, AV rack builds, signal flow, display mounting, speaker systems, and camera installation.
      • Ability to produce clear, structured field reports and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 2–3 weeks at a time, approximately 70% travel).
      • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
      • Ability to work in active construction environments and lift up to 100 lbs.
      • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications (CTS, OSHA, Crestron, DSP systems) are a plus.
