Accountabilities:

    The Vice President, Finance Strategy & Operations will lead the strategic and operational evolution of the Finance function while acting as a key advisor to executive leadership. This role owns the development of scalable operating models, transformation programs, and cross-functional initiatives that enable sustainable growth.

    • Serve as a strategic operating partner to the CFO, supporting Finance organization strategy, operational planning, and transformation priorities.
    • Build and lead the Finance Strategy & Operations function, establishing frameworks that improve execution, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Develop and execute a multi-year Finance transformation roadmap aligned with business growth objectives and public company requirements.
    • Lead Finance-owned enterprise transformation initiatives, including revenue process optimization, business model evolution, and global expansion programs.
    • Establish governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and success metrics to ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable business impact.
    • Redesign Finance processes to improve scalability, efficiency, accuracy, and operational consistency across a distributed organization.
    • Partner with technology teams to define Finance systems priorities, business requirements, and implementation strategies.
    • Serve as the Finance business owner for system enhancements, integrations, and technology-driven process improvements.
    • Identify opportunities for AI, automation, and intelligent workflows that improve Finance productivity and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams to maintain strong controls, compliance processes, and scalable operational practices.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by translating complex business challenges into actionable strategies.
    • Drive alignment across departments and help teams adopt new processes, operating models, and ways of working.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced finance leader with a strong background in strategic operations, enterprise transformation, and scaling finance organizations within technology companies. They should combine analytical expertise with strong executive communication and influence skills.

      • Extensive experience in strategic finance, Finance operations, FP&A leadership, or related executive finance roles within public technology or SaaS organizations.
      • Proven track record leading complex enterprise transformation programs with measurable business outcomes.
      • Deep understanding of Lead-to-Cash processes, revenue operations, and evolving business models, including consumption or usage-based models.
      • Experience supporting global expansion initiatives, operational scaling, and cross-functional business transformation.
      • Strong knowledge of public company reporting requirements, internal controls, and SOX compliance frameworks.
      • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, including C-suite leaders and Board-level stakeholders.
      • Experience driving alignment between Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
      • Strong ability to operate effectively in remote-first or globally distributed environments.
      • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and operational execution skills.
      • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and create clear action plans.
      • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
      • CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification is a plus.
