The Oracle HCM Security Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, administration, and governance of security within Oracle Fusion HCM. This role serves as a subject matter expert for Oracle HCM security architecture, ensuring appropriate access controls, compliance with internal policies, and protection of sensitive employee data. The analyst will partner with HR, Compliance, Audit, IT, and business stakeholders to implement secure, scalable, and compliant security solutions across Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion HCM security, including:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Job Roles, Duty Roles, and Abstract Roles
- Data Roles
- Security Profiles
- Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
- Person Security
- HCM Security Console
- Design and implement security models aligned with business requirements and Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles.
- Conduct security impact assessments for organizational changes, new implementations, and Oracle quarterly releases.
- Manage user provisioning, role assignments, role hierarchies, and access governance processes.
- Support security testing, UAT, and validation activities for system enhancements and new releases.
- Support security requirements for OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Monitor Oracle quarterly updates and evaluate impacts on security configurations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate on Redwood security considerations and support security requirements for AI-enabled Oracle HCM capabilities.
- 4+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, including at least 3 years focused on Oracle HCM Security.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Learn and Compensation.
- Strong expertise in:

- Security Profiles
- Data Roles
- Job, Duty, and Abstract Roles
- Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
- Person and Workforce Security
- RBAC and SoD principles
- Experience supporting Oracle quarterly releases, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Working knowledge of OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher security models, including report access controls, duty roles, catalog permissions, and data security considerations.
