Accountabilities:
- Transcribe speech recordings and spoken content into accurate written text.
- Annotate, summarize, and evaluate spoken language data according to project guidelines.
- Identify and correct grammar, syntax, and language structure issues.
- Analyze sentence patterns, word order, and linguistic characteristics.
- Apply knowledge of phonetics and phonology to support speech analysis activities.
- Perform proofreading, content validation, and quality assurance checks.
- Review and improve language datasets used to enhance speech and AI language models.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across assigned linguistic tasks.
- Follow project instructions and maintain high standards of data accuracy.
- Strong command of Punjabi language and linguistic concepts.
- Degree, postgraduate qualification, or certification in Linguistics, Punjabi Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience in copywriting, proofreading, content creation, translation, transcription, or report writing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of English grammar and language structure.
- Good listening and comprehension skills with the ability to analyze spoken content.
- Knowledge of phonetics, phonology, syntax, and linguistic analysis methods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify language inconsistencies.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed project requirements.
- Familiarity with speech, audio, or language data projects is an advantage.
