Job Description Summary

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations and help drive a safe, reliable, and efficient production environment. This role leads front-line manufacturing employees, supports execution across production or service shop operations, and ensures performance goals related to quality, delivery, and productivity are achieved.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, solving operational challenges, and improving manufacturing performance. The role operates with some autonomy while working within established policies, business standards, and operational goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to work second shift, Monday-Friday
  • Lead and manage front-line manufacturing employees, typically within an hourly workforce
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure safe, reliable, and consistent production performance
  • Manage staffing, employee development, and performance expectations
  • Apply technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and sound judgment to support execution of operational priorities
  • Resolve manufacturing issues and help improve processes, quality, volume, and timeliness
  • Use knowledge of best practices and understanding of how the team’s work integrates with other functions
  • Support decision-making by using multiple internal and limited external sources of information
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Lead small projects with low risk and manageable resource requirements
  • Build alignment across the team, communicate clearly, and address sensitive issues appropriately

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing & production supervision
