Accountabilities:
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain databases, dashboards, reports, and analytical tools supporting program priorities.
- Create computerized models, queries, and analytical solutions to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design impactful data visualizations, including graphs, charts, and dashboards using tools such as Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Ensure dashboards and reporting solutions accurately represent underlying clinical and administrative data.
- Integrate data solutions with existing healthcare systems and enterprise datasets to improve accessibility, reliability, and data quality.
- Build automated data acquisition and import processes to reduce manual entry and enhance operational efficiency.
- Work with healthcare information systems and databases to support accurate reporting and program analysis.
- Develop documentation, user guides, and technical materials explaining data sources, functionality, and workflows.
- Provide training, technical support, maintenance, and enhancements for analytical tools and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure data products align with program objectives.
- Present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting data through computerized models and analytical methods.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, charts, and visualizations to support business or program decisions.
- Proficiency with data visualization platforms such as Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Experience working with healthcare information systems and databases.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate data findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting federal agencies or large healthcare organizations preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare data sources and systems such as Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), VistA, VHA Support Service Center (VSSC), RAMP, PTF, MCA, PCMM, NPCD, or VETSNET is preferred.
- Experience integrating dashboards or reports with enterprise healthcare systems is a plus.
- Experience developing automated data acquisition and import solutions is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or similar credentials are beneficial.
