The Opportunity
Digital Imaging organization is behind the most popular and most powerful set of products in the market, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, actively used worldwide by millions of users ever single month. Digital Imaging Romania is owning a set of components that are embedded inside multiple Creative Cloud products whose UX is dynamic and driven trough targeted content campaigns. We help applications' product teams, marketing and other organizations materialize their vision inside Creative Cloud products.
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with great front-end expertise, a sharp product attitude, and a passion for engineering excellence. You will play a key role in shaping scalable, high-performance web experiences that operate at a global level.

What you'll Do
- Develop and optimize web applications using HTML, CSS, JS and/or TypeScript using ReactJS or Web Components
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of graphics components.
- Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance optimization.
- Partner with fellow engineers and partners on the design and development of solutions and integrations.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, testable and maintainable code.
- Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, designs and creative problem solving.
- Work well both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team
- Grow with the support of your team, and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you
AI-Augmented Engineering Expectations
We expect engineers to operate at the frontier of modern development practices.
- Treat AI as a force-multiplier. You understand when to trust an agent, when to stay in the loop, and how to build systems that remain safe and auditable.
- Actively use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) as core engineering tools for full-feature implementation, code review and refactoring, architecture exploration, test generation, debugging support
This is part of how you work every day — paired with strong engineering judgment and accountability.
What you need to succeed
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex web applications.
- Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Deep knowledge of the standard HTML/CSS/DOM APIs available in the modern browsers.
- Demonstrated experience with at least a web front-end framework (Lit, React, Angular, Vue or similar).
- Experience writing production-quality JavaScript or TypeScript code.
- Experience working with a web UI toolkit.
- Solid understanding of software development patterns, guidelines and performance in web applications.
- Proven skill in dealing with large codebases and heterogeneous APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
