About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Java to design, develop, and enhance scalable software solutions that support our business and customers globally. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical design decisions, solve complex engineering challenges, and support the growth of fellow team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services.
Contribute to technical specifications, architecture discussions, and software design decisions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and software defects.
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices, quality standards, and secure coding principles.
Develop and optimize REST-based services, data models, and application performance.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
Work effectively in Agile and other delivery environments.
Share knowledge, mentor team members, and support continuous learning within the team.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, or a related technical field.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in Java 8 with exposure to Java 11 and/or Java 21 preferred.
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, Hibernate, and JPA.
Strong understanding and development experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native deployments, preferably in Azure environments.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, or similar automation tools.
Knowledge of Kafka/Event Hub, MySQL, application performance optimization, and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
