Primary Purpose of this Position: The Procurement Operations Manager enhances operational effectiveness by leading projects in procurement processes, technology, and policies. They oversee compliance and collaborate with Finance, Internal Audit, and Global Business Services.

 

What will you be responsible for?

  • Oversee execution of procurement policies, procedures, and processes
  • Execute the training and skills program for the procurement organization.
  • Track and report metrics.Execute the training and skills program for the procurement organization.
  • Responsible for managing procurement technology and associated master data.
  • Produce reporting to support internal audit needs (e.g. system audit).
  • Recommend process improvements and enhancements.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Category Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Business Management.
  • Progressively increasing responsibility in Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Management Consulting or business-related operations.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm is a plus.
  • Strategic orientation, inquisitive, comfortable with ambiguity, and self-motivated to identify trends and improvement opportunities aligned with business objectives and strategic plans.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills with ability to extract key themes, determine root causes, develop creative solutions, and craft concise messages.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to plan tasks, manage progress, remove barriers, manage change, resolve conflict, and build consensus.
  • Computer Skills and Systems: Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills is highly desired with additional proficiencies in the use of other Microsoft Office tools including Access, Project and Visio; working knowledge of ERP software and related query/reporting tools preferred.

Knowledge of:

  • Current principles, practices and methods, pertaining to Procurement global business improvement systems and their adaptation to regional contexts.
  • Analytics and market research methods.Procurement technology and best practices.
