Accountabilities:

    • Translate healthcare regulatory and business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and system solutions.
    • Analyze current-state systems, data flows, and integrations to identify compliance gaps related to CMS interoperability standards.
    • Design and document APIs, data models, and integrations using HL7 FHIR (R4) standards.
    • Support healthcare interoperability programs such as PAS, CRD, and DTR initiatives.
    • Collaborate with development teams using C#, .NET, Azure, and REST APIs to implement solutions.
    • Work within Agile teams using tools such as Azure DevOps to manage requirements, development, and delivery cycles.
    • Evaluate system architecture and recommend remediation strategies to improve interoperability and compliance.
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 3+ years in healthcare payer systems or interoperability environments.
      • Strong experience with HL7 FHIR (R4) standards and healthcare data exchange frameworks.
      • Proficiency in C#, .NET, REST APIs, and cloud-based Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, APIM).
      • Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, and Agile development methodologies.
      • Solid understanding of healthcare payer processes, including claims, prior authorization, and member access systems.
      • Experience designing and documenting system integrations, APIs, and data mappings in complex environments.
      • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
      • Preferred: familiarity with CMS interoperability mandates, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2, and Azure FHIR services.
