Accountabilities:

    The role is responsible for managing and improving global sales compensation operations, ensuring accurate commission execution, strong data integrity, and alignment between incentive programs and business objectives. You will combine analytical skills, system expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to support scalable compensation processes.

    • Calculate monthly and quarterly sales commissions with accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
    • Validate commissionable transactions, including new bookings, renewals, upsell/cross-sell activities, and adjustments.
    • Manage exceptions such as clawbacks, credit adjustments, disputes, and payout corrections.
    • Support payroll preparation and commission payment processes.
    • Translate compensation plans into system configurations, including quotas, accelerators, incentive structures, and tiered models.
    • Maintain and optimize sales compensation platforms such as Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, Oracle Incentive Compensation, or similar tools.
    • Partner with Sales Operations to maintain accurate territories, hierarchies, and crediting structures.
    • Support quota documentation, plan communications, and compensation administration activities.
    • Create reports and dashboards related to attainment, commissions, sales performance, and cost of sales.
    • Perform data analysis, identify trends or inconsistencies, and provide insights to improve compensation effectiveness.
    • Support forecasting, accrual processes, and financial reporting activities.
    • Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and accounting standards.
    • Partner with Finance, HR, Sales Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve compensation-related questions and escalations.
    • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
    • Support system implementations, migrations, testing activities, and continuous transformation initiatives.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, experience with sales compensation programs, and the ability to operate effectively in a global SaaS environment. You should be comfortable working with complex datasets, compensation systems, and multiple stakeholders while maintaining a high level of accuracy and ownership.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
      • 4–7+ years of experience in sales compensation, finance, sales operations, or related analytical roles, preferably within SaaS organizations.
      • Strong understanding of sales incentive structures, including quotas, accelerators, tiers, and commission models.
      • Experience managing or supporting sales compensation systems such as Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, Oracle Incentive Compensation, or similar platforms.
      • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, reconciliations, and large dataset analysis.
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
      • Experience supporting global compensation programs across multiple regions is preferred.
      • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
      • Experience with system implementations, process optimization, or automation initiatives is preferred.
      • Understanding of SaaS business metrics such as ARR, ACV, churn, and expansion revenue is a plus.
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities effectively.
      • Ownership mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
