Accountabilities:

    The Director of Secondary Marketing is responsible for owning pricing technology strategy, improving revenue management processes, and ensuring operational excellence across secondary marketing functions. This role requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage complex technology initiatives while supporting daily pricing and capital markets operations.

    • Serve as the primary business owner and administrator for the Product & Pricing Engine, ensuring platform stability, accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement.
    • Configure and maintain pricing rules, investor guidelines, eligibility requirements, adjustments, and pricing parameters.
    • Partner with technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver platform enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities.
    • Lead user acceptance testing, system releases, and implementation activities to ensure successful technology adoption.
    • Design and enhance revenue management solutions focused on pricing optimization, automation, workflow improvements, and profitability management.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with engineering and product teams on scalable solutions.
    • Support secondary marketing operations, including retail pricing, margin analysis, product eligibility, pipeline management, investor pricing validation, and lock desk activities.
    • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide insights into pipeline performance, pricing trends, revenue opportunities, and operational effectiveness.
    • Analyze data to identify opportunities for margin improvement, process automation, and enhanced decision-making.
    • Coordinate integrations between pricing platforms, loan origination systems, data warehouses, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions.
    • Lead cross-functional technology projects from initial planning through deployment, managing timelines, requirements, stakeholders, and outcomes.
    • Document business processes, evaluate operational inefficiencies, and recommend technology-driven improvements.
    • Maintain pricing governance standards, support compliance requirements, and ensure appropriate documentation and change management processes.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on mortgage pricing, revenue optimization, secondary marketing technology, and future platform strategy.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in mortgage secondary marketing, pricing technology, and business transformation. This role requires a combination of financial markets knowledge, technical expertise, analytical ability, and strong stakeholder management skills.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
      • 7+ years of experience in Secondary Marketing, Capital Markets, mortgage pricing, or mortgage technology environments.
      • Deep understanding of mortgage pricing methodologies, product eligibility, pipeline management, profitability optimization, and investor requirements.
      • Experience managing Product & Pricing Engines, with experience using Polly PPE preferred.
      • Proven experience leading technology implementations, platform enhancements, and system integrations.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify business opportunities.
      • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
      • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including technology, product management, operations, analytics, and capital markets.
      • Knowledge of mortgage pricing APIs, SQL, business intelligence tools, and data integrations preferred.
      • Familiarity with Agile project management practices and enterprise technology delivery.
      • Experience with automation, workflow technologies, and AI-enabled solutions is a plus.
      • Strong strategic thinking, communication, project management, and executive presentation skills.
      • Ability to manage competing priorities, drive change, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to verify identity and employment eligibility.
