About the Role
Reporting to our APAC Regional PR lead, we are looking for a dynamic individual PR Manager to manage multiple APAC PR markets and drive our B2B Comms in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver successful PR programmes in APAC markets, in line with the APAC PR strategy
- Build highly effective regional B2B/Corp Comms programmes, in conjunction with the B2B/Corp team to drive media coverage and executive engagement to drive the Skyscanner business in region
- Live and breathe the news agenda in the APAC region, building compelling data angles, creating smart partnerships and working with Marketing peers to build awareness-driving campaigns
- Work closely with the Data & Insights lead for PR, as well as SEO and Content to ensure we are providing a holistic message to travellers about the value of Skyscanner
- Scope out and secure third-party partnerships and/or spokespeople to elevate campaigns
- Work closely with market agencies to ensure campaigns are informed by local market nuances in order to secure headline grabbing coverage across the markets’ top tier media
- Liaise with campaigns and brand teams to ensure product placement is at the heart of every campaign – whether it’s a new launch or maximising opportunities for existing features
- Partner with the PR & Social Measurement lead to ensure timely and comprehensive business reporting and to facilitate retros for all global campaigns
Key Skills:
- Proven senior PR experience of at least 6 years and above, preferably in an in-house PR team or high growth business, operating in markets across APAC
- A highly creative individual with their finger on the pulse of trends and regional news moments
- With the experience of working on both B2C and B2B comms for global brands and executing for the APAC markets
- Deep understanding of executing on a global scale and how localisation is key to a campaign’s success
- Excels in a fast paced ‘test, learn and adapt’ environment
- Completely comfortable juggling multiple projects with fluid timescales for a variety of stakeholders
- Highly versed in cross-channel collaborations, with clear evidence of creating campaigns that deliver success across the breadth of marcomms channels ie social, content, lifecycle, etc.
- A good nose for strategic planning with the ability to craft a comms plan & positioning from a product roadmap
