About the Role
At Pavago, we’re hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build, scale, and maintain modern web applications and the cloud infrastructure that powers them.
This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering role focused on:

What You’ll Own
Full Stack Application Development
- Design, build, and maintain modern web applications.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using:

- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
Backend Development & APIs
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using:

- Design secure authentication and authorization systems.
- Build scalable business logic and third-party integrations.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases including:
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
- Deploy and manage applications on:
- AWS
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Microsoft Azure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins

- Manage containerized applications using:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Support cloud-native infrastructure and deployment automation.
Testing & Engineering Quality
- Write and maintain:
- Unit tests
- Integration tests
- End-to-end tests
- Utilize testing frameworks such as:

- Maintain high code quality through peer reviews and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Monitoring, Security & Reliability
- Monitor systems using:

- Apply secure coding standards aligned with OWASP guidelines.
- Support compliance with standards such as:

Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through reviews, pairing, and coaching.
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and long-term technical roadmaps.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with:
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- React
- Node.js
- Experience building production-grade APIs and scalable applications.
- Hands-on experience with:
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- MongoDB
- Cloud deployment experience using:
- AWS

- Excellent debugging, optimization, and troubleshooting skills.
