Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Seamstress, you’re not just altering and repairing garments – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Alter and repair garments: Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments to team member uniforms, hotel linens, and guest clothing to ensure proper fit and quality
- Keep sewing equipment running smoothly: Keep sewing machines in good working condition and promptly report any defects to the Linen Room Supervisor
- Maintain an organized workspace: Keep the uniform and linen room clean, orderly, and well-stocked
- Monitor item conditions: Identify and report uniforms or linens that need to be discarded or replaced
