Pharmacy Technician at Providence Specialty Home Services Pharmacy in Portland, OR

Full-Time/ Day Shift

The Credena Health Pharmacy Technician 2 performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing/shipping of medications from the pharmacy to the patient's home or appropriate facility in a prompt and accurate manner. This technician has advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or
    • Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Upon hire: In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties. 
  • 1 year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy technician experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program.    
  • Inpatient, Long-Term Care or Specialty Pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with Pyxis CII Safe.
