We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer II to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications supporting critical business operations. In this role, you'll leverage .NET Core, JavaScript, and Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, JavaScript, and Azure Cloud technologies.
Perform systems analysis, application design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and production support.
Lead technical design efforts for application enhancements and new development initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Prepare technical specifications, documentation, project estimates, and implementation plans.
Execute detailed testing, troubleshoot defects, and ensure software quality through all phases of development.
Evaluate application integrations, system performance, and technical dependencies to recommend improvements.
Coordinate development activities with cross-functional teams including Development, Operations, QA, and business partners.
Participate in technical evaluations of emerging technologies and vendor software solutions.
Ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and organizational policies.
Support project planning, technical assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on project assignments.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Independently perform advanced systems analysis, application design, and software development activities.
Lead technical efforts for small to medium-sized projects while coordinating project deliverables.
Provide guidance and technical direction to less experienced developers.
Collaborate with senior leadership, technology teams, business partners, and vendors.
Support enterprise application stability, modernization, and ongoing enhancements.
Promote development best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
May provide technical leadership, project coordination, mentoring, and oversight of development activities for junior team members.
Education and Experience Required:
Associate's degree and a minimum of 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or professional experience including at least 5 years of application development.
Strong experience developing applications using .NET Core, JavaScript, and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications.
Knowledge of modern application development methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
Experience working on multiple complex technical projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience collaborating with business units to deliver technical solutions.
Ability to prepare technical documentation, project estimates, and implementation plans.
Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and timely project delivery.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
Understanding of enterprise application frameworks and integrated application environments.
Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and Microsoft Azure services.
Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within Agile teams.
Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture and application integration.
Proactive approach to solving technical challenges and improving development processes.
Experience evaluating new technologies and recommending innovative solutions.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.64 to $77.74 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
