We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesLead the design, development, validation, and qualification of high-reliability mixed-signal electronics for satellite systemsOwn electronic subsystems end-to-end, from concept through design, testing, and in-orbit supportDrive technical direction and best practices across avionics and hardware engineering teamsCoordinate multidisciplinary development efforts across electronics, systems, and manufacturing teamsPerform hands-on lab work, including bring-up, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance validationUse data and testing insights to guide design trade-offs and improve system-level performanceMentor engineers and contribute to raising engineering standards across the organizationContribute to continuous improvement of ICEYE’s electronics platform and long-term hardware strategyWhat are we looking forMust haves:5+ years of experience in electronics engineering in fast-paced or mission-critical environmentsProven experience leading complex, cross-functional hardware development projectsStrong expertise in board-level design, including schematics, PCB layout, simulation, bring-up, and validationStrong hands-on experience with laboratory measurements and advanced test equipmentProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve board- and system-level issues using data-driven approachesAbility to influence technical direction and make architectural trade-offsStrong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to work independently while mentoring and supporting othersNice to haves:Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience with Python and scripting in Linux environmentsExperience in aerospace or other high-reliability industriesUnderstanding of on-orbit challenges such as radiation, thermal effects, and continuous operationApplication ProcessRecruiter screeningHiring manager interviewTechnical taskTechnical panel interviewFinal interviewWorking at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
