Save Report this job About The RoleThis role focuses on designing, building, and scaling high-throughput APIs and microservices that power user-facing products. The engineer will own critical paths of the backend architecture, ensuring systems remain reliable, performant, and secure under high traffic loads.The engineer will collaborate closely with frontend and mobile teams to define API contracts, design schema definitions, and optimize database queries to deliver a seamless end-user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable microservices using Go, Python, or Java in a distributed cloud environmentOptimize relational and non-relational database performance, including schema design, indexing strategies, and query tuning in PostgreSQL or DynamoDBBuild and integrate reliable RESTful and gRPC APIs to support frontend web and mobile applicationsImplement asynchronous task processing pipelines and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQSMonitor application performance, debug production incidents, and write comprehensive unit, integration, and load tests to ensure system reliabilityWhat We Are Looking For3–6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in backend developmentStrong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Python, Java, or KotlinSolid understanding of distributed systems concepts, database transactions, concurrency control, and API design principlesHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration tools like AWS, Docker, and KubernetesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceBonus: Experience with GraphQL, Redis caching strategies, or building high-scale real-time communication protocols (WebSockets) Show more Show less Seniority level Mid-Senior level ...
