Associate Director, Revenue Accounting and Finance
Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking a Associate Director, Revenue Accounting and Finance to play a key role in commercial launch readiness as the company prepares for its first product launch and continues its transition to a commercial stage organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Accounting and Finance, this position will serve as a hands-on subject matter expert responsible for ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement of revenue accounting, gross-to-net (GTN) forecasting, and related month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in pharmaceutical revenue and GTN accounting, forecasting, and related financial reporting, along with strong technical accounting judgment and proven experience supporting commercial launch readiness. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and help build scalable processes and controls to support the company's commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly product revenue and gross-to-net close activities, including the calculation, recording, and monitoring of gross-to-net accruals and related reserve balances for prompt pay discounts, copay and patient assistance programs, returns, Medicaid, Medicare Part D, 340B, VA/DoD, and other forms of variable consideration.

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analyses, reserve rollforwards, close schedules, and supporting documentation for revenue and GTN related accounts.

Maintain and support robust internal controls over revenue processes, ensuring SOX compliance and audit readiness.

Prepare, maintain, and improve RevMed’s GTN forecasting models and methodologies for budget, forecast, long range planning, and scenario analysis.

Partner directly with the Commercial and Market Access teams to develop and maintain GTN assumptions and forecasts, track performance, and evaluate pricing and contracting strategies.

Partner with Analytics & Insights to incorporate relevant demand, patient, and market data into GTN forecasts.

Develop dashboards, analytics, and reporting packages that provide visibility into gross sales, discounts, reserve adequacy, forecast accuracy, and emerging risks or opportunities.

Manage the day-to-day partnership with the external government pricing consultant, including coordinating required data submissions, reviewing government pricing calculations and related outputs, and supporting accuracy and compliance across government channels, including Medicaid, Medicare Part D, 340B, and VA/FSS programs.

Drive the adoption of approved AI-enabled tools and automation to eliminate manual processes across revenue accounting, gross-to-net forecasting, account reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close while ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Collaborate closely with the Senior Director, Revenue Accounting and Finance, and the Vice President, Finance and Corporate Accounting on strategic initiatives, cross functional projects and SEC reporting disclosures.

Serve as an HQ partner for global revenue and reporting by coordinating with regional finance and accounting teams to standardize revenue inputs, forecast reporting, variance analysis, key assumptions, controls, and consolidation ready reporting to support senior leadership decision making.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.

Minimum of 8+ years of progressive working experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Proactive learner with demonstrated curiosity and interest in using AI.

Demonstrated expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, gross-to-net (GTN) accounting and forecasting.

Experience strengthening accounting processes, and internal controls in compliance with SOX, SEC, and U.S. GAAP requirements.
