Acting as the interface between local statutory requirements and Group financial frameworks, the position combines technical expertise with hands-on operational execution.Key responsibilitiesStatutory Accounting & Financial ReportingEnsure complete accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial records, general ledgers, and sub-ledgers in full compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS/IAS where applicable. In addition to monthly and annual requirements, the role is operational and hands-on, including the responsibility of the daily recording of incoming and outgoing payments and the reconciliation of bank accounts.Lead the preparation and timely filing of the Annual Statutory Financial Statements (Bilancio d’Esercizio) ensuring full compliance with the Italian Civil Code.Manage relationships with external auditors and relevant stakeholders, ensuring audit processes are conducted rigorously, efficiently, and supported by accurate and well-maintained documentation.Oversee and manage the relationships with banks and ensure effective cash management.Tax & Mandatory FilingsOversee all recurring tax and statutory obligations, including VAT declarations, LIPE, Intrastat, CU, withholding tax payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.Prepare, maintain, and update transfer pricing documentation related to the Italian entities, including Master File and Local File where required, in alignment with Italian and international requirements.Support audits, inspections, or inquiries from tax authorities, particularly in relation to transfer pricing and corporate taxation matters.Monitor and interpret developments in Italian tax legislation to ensure lawful tax optimization and provide informed guidance in dealings with the Agenzia delle...
