Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.Job DescriptionThe overall objective of the Human Resources Coordinator is to perform all necessary human resource functions from applicant tracking through employee termination. Maintain accurate and current employee files. Handle benefits administration. Process payroll. Work with safety director on workers’ compensation and safety records. Act as an administrative assistant to the Human Resources Manager AccountabilitiesThe key responsibilities of this position include:Perform all necessary human resource functions from applicant tracking through employee termination.Maintain accurate and current employee files.Handle benefits administration including invoice payment, enrollments, updates, claim assistance with employees and general employee assistance.Process payroll.Act as an administrative assistant to the Human Resources ManagerOther duties include maintaining the vehicle gas card system, balance checkbooks, maintain, and other related dutiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Knowledge / Experience3-5 years experience will all aspects of human resources including benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, recruiting, and regulatory compliance activitiesIntrapersonal Skills: Outgoing personality. Organized. Detail oriented. Must be able to professionally handle all types of sensitive and confidential information.Technical Experience: Working knowledge of Word and Excel/ spreadsheets. Quick learner on any type of technology.PreferredBachelor’s degree in a business-related field.Human Resources certifications (PHR or SPHR).EducationHigh school degree/ GEDWork Environment and Physical DemandsFLSA non-exempt positions paid on an hourly basis, where project requirements and tight client deadlines may require workweeks over forty (40) hours (including weekends or holidays) This role will work in an office setting; however, frequent visits to the production floor are required to oversee operations, ensure compliance and safety standards, and engage staff. Mobility: Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs. Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up to twenty-five (25) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.
