What You Will Do:
- Quality Oversight: Conduct rigorous QA reviews of '''Business As Usual'' (BAU) of high level escalations.
- Validation & Remediation: Perform remediation validations to ensure previously identified errors have been corrected and documented according to compliance standards.
- Calibration & Appeals: Lead and participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistency across the team; manage the appeals process for disputed QA findings.
- Metrics & Reporting: Prepare or help in preparing quality meeting slides, analyze metrics to identify trends, root causes of errors and areas for operational improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively raise discrepancies between current procedures and regulatory expectations proposing updates to keep the program ''one step ahead'' of potential risks.
What You Will Need:
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar Quality Assurance or Compliance role within financial services.
- Education: Bachelor degree.
- Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML), ''Know Your Customer'' (KYC), and Transaction Monitoring (Transaction Monitoring) workflows.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to dissect complex financial data and identify subtle patterns of suspicious activity or procedural non-compliance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Certifications: ACAMS (CAMS) or similar is a major plus
- Leadership: Previous experience mentoring junior analysts or leading small project workstreams.
