JOB DESCRIPTION: The Project Manager, Implementation Services leads customer software implementations in healthcare and enterprise environments from kickoff through go-live and support transition. This customer-facing role manages scope, schedule, budgets, risks, dependencies, communications, and outcomes while partnering with customer leaders, clinical stakeholders, technical teams, business users, and executive sponsors. The Project Manager serves as primary contact and ensures projects align with expectations, commitments, standards, and best practices.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage concurrent implementations, including plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Serve as primary customer contact, coordinating technical, clinical, operational, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate kickoff, status reviews, executive updates, risk reviews, go-live readiness/support, and closure.
  • Drive accountability, resolve issues, maintain customer relationships, support methodology, and improve delivery consistency.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Primarily remote, customer-facing role requiring flexibility for milestones, meetings, go-live activities, and occasional work outside business hours.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for implementations, meetings, and project activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5+ years managing customer-facing software, SaaS, healthcare IT, ERP, infrastructure, or enterprise technology implementations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and communications.
  • Experience leading technical, operational, clinical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, organization, problem-solving, documentation, relationship management, and communication skills; able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, or similar tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Healthcare IT implementation experience with hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, physician practices, or clinical organizations.
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, VNA, DMS, EMR/EHR, DICOM, HL7, radiology, cardiology, clinical workflows, or healthcare operations.
  • PMP certification, project management training, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to use office technology, join customer meetings, communicate for extended periods, and travel as required.
