Remote Recruitment is hiring a Finance Manager for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable and payroll
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and variance analyses
- Lead the annual budgeting process and support quarterly reforecasting cycles
- Manage and develop the finance team ensuring accuracy and deadline adherence
- Ensure full compliance with financial reporting standards, tax obligations and internal controls
- Partner with senior leadership on financial planning, investment decisions and cost management
Requirements
- 5+ years of finance management or financial controller experience
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CA(SA) qualified accountant
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP and VAT reporting requirements
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, NetSuite or similar
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
