Your New Role...The Booker is responsible for maximising the commercial performance of theatrical releases by building strong exhibitor relationships, negotiating cinema bookings, and ensuring the successful execution of release strategies across an assigned territory. This role plays a key part in driving box office results, strengthening long-term cinema partnerships, and ensuring each release is positioned for success from launch through to holdover. If you are motivated by combining commercial thinking with relationship management and enjoy influencing outcomes in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to make a tangible impact.Your Role Accountabilities...- Negotiate and secure cinema bookings for theatrical releases across contract and flat-fee models.
- Develop and execute release plans, aligned with commercial strategy and print availability.
- Extend film runs by monitoring performance and negotiating continued screening.
- Manage contracts and licensing (theatrical, flat fee, and non-theatrical exhibition).
- Oversee booking operations, including KDM requests and VPF validation.
- Maintain strong exhibitor relationships, providing support, resolving issues, and managing conflicts.
- Monitor performance and competitor activity to inform booking strategy and optimise commercial outcomes.
- Negotiation experience (commercial agreements with external partners).
- Experience in film distribution, cinema exhibition, or similar media booking environment.
- Strong stakeholder management (high-volume external client base).
- Operational accuracy (contracting, licensing, and financial validation processes e.g. VPFs).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across geographic territories.
