DNV Maritime Area Denmark, Sweden, Finland & North Atlantic is seeking a qualified maritime professional to join our surveyor team in Fredericia, Denmark.
The position reports to the Head of Section for Fleet in Service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys and audits of ships and offshore units to verify compliance with classification rules, statutory regulations, and applicable safety standards
- Support other Maritime service lines, including Certification of Materials and Components and Newbuilding activities as required
- Maintain professional interaction with vessel owners, managers, and other stakeholders
- Manage and develop client relationships in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to interdisciplinary and project-oriented assignments
- Follow up on surveys and ensure timely completion of deliverables in line with agreed deadlines
- Deliver services consistently throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up in line with DNV strategy

Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Dual Officer studies, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Relevant professional experience is an advantage
Strong customer focus combined with a proactive and self-driven mindset

Structured and adaptable approach to operational and technical challenges
Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn and use digital tools
Fluent in English; Scandinavian language skills are an advantage
Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel when required
Valid driving licence and physical capability to perform survey work
