You will work closely with external stakeholders, including authorities and other partners, where effective communication and collaboration are essential to ensuring smooth operations. In your day-to-day work, you will serve as an important link between Esrange and the outside world, helping to build understanding of and confidence in our activities.
The role is both analytical and operational. During campaign periods, you will be actively involved on site during launches, ensuring that everything proceeds according to plan. To thrive in this position, you should enjoy variety and be flexible, as the work alternates between planning, analysis, and hands-on operational participation.

You likely have a background in engineering, aviation, data analysis, or safety, and you are comfortable working with systems and analyzing data. Experience in flight safety, managing relationships with regulatory authorities, or similar areas of responsibility is considered an advantage. However, what matters most is that you have a structured approach to your work, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Location
This is a full-time position based at Esrange Space Center outside Kiruna, where you will work at the heart of our operations. The role is primarily site-based, although remote work may be possible in exceptional circumstances. During our rocket and balloon campaigns, you will take an active part in operations, which may occasionally require work outside regular office hours or at other locations.
