Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinic Registered Nurse at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient-centered care. Responsibilities:Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response. Refer to/consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
