About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of Gartner Peer Products. The Data Analyst will work closely with product and business leaders to analyze user behavior and engagement patterns and measure product and feature performance. This position will ensure consistency and quality in our data and reporting pipeline and help facilitate better decision making among product leaders by giving them insights from overall user experience on Gartner Peer Insights.
What you’ll do:
Help manage multiple Product Ops projects - scoping requirements, tracking timelines, and supporting on-time delivery.
Structure and analyze large data sets to surface insights on product metrics, trends, and health.
Build and maintain operational dashboards and tools using Excel, Power BI, and/or Python.
Produce monthly operational reporting and presentations for cross-functional partners across R&A and Ombuds.
Work with product, engineering, and team leads to gather requirements, share updates, and align on priorities.
Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify efficiency and quality improvements, with a clear “so what” focus.
Support efforts to streamline processes and help operationalize agreed solutions.
Translate analysis into clear, structured outputs and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Contribute to team knowledge sharing and work effectively across functions.
Manage shifting priorities and multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll need:
2-3 years of relevant industry experience in Tech/IT industry, Research, or Operations.
Graduation in Engineering/tech. Master’s/MBA degree is preferred. Coursework in business analytics, advanced analytics, and business reporting would be preferred.
Proficiency for PowerPoint, MS Excel, and intermediate knowledge of PowerBI and Python.
Program management experience & capability to give independent opinions based on facts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfil them in a proactive manner.
A bias for action, including balancing trade-offs, a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do what it takes to get things done.
Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone
