Accountabilities:
- Design and implement multi-file backend coding tasks involving bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and test generation.
- Write clear and structured technical specifications along with reference implementations.
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites using modern testing frameworks.
- Review peer-generated tasks to ensure correctness, realism, and alignment with requirements.
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios in complex codebases.
- Contribute to production-realistic engineering scenarios that reflect real-world backend systems.
- Ensure consistency between specifications, implementations, and expected outputs across tasks.
- 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.
- Advanced English proficiency (written) for technical communication and documentation.
- Experience working with production systems and large, multi-file codebases.
- Strong familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing tools.
- Proven experience in debugging, refactoring, and performing production migrations.
- Ability to perform detailed code reviews and provide structured technical feedback.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
