Accountabilities:

    The Sales Director - Banking will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing strategic relationships across the banking and financial services ecosystem. This role requires ownership of business development activities, pipeline management, client engagement, and commercial strategy execution.

    • Increase revenue growth across product offerings by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, asset managers, and related financial service providers.
    • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, using a consultative approach to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Guide clients through their digital asset journey by explaining how solutions can support their business objectives.
    • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline while contributing to commercial strategy and market expansion plans.
    • Leverage existing industry networks and market knowledge to generate qualified leads and accelerate deal execution.
    • Own client relationships throughout the sales cycle, including prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing account management.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and performance analysis to support business decisions.
    • Collaborate with product teams to communicate customer feedback, pain points, and opportunities for product improvements.
    • Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities as a credible market ambassador.
    • Stay informed on banking, fintech, payments, and digital asset industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced sales and business development professional with a strong background in banking, fintech, and financial services. They should have a proven ability to build executive-level relationships, manage complex sales cycles, and close strategic commercial agreements.

      • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or enterprise partnerships within banking, fintech, payments, or related financial services sectors.
      • Demonstrated success developing business relationships with banks, asset managers, and financial institutions.
      • Strong understanding of banking operations, including risk management functions and AML-related processes.
      • Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and successfully closing high-value deals.
      • Experience using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or similar frameworks.
      • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to identify opportunities and create value-driven solutions.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
      • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
      • Strong network within the financial services industry.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and commercial functions.
      • Fluency in Spanish is considered a plus.
