Job Description
As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Williamsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or sensitive workspaces while following unarmed post orders and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Support daily operations by completing patrol logs, incident reports, and/or shift activity documentation while maintaining professional interactions with employees, visitors, and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
