The Mission 💪

Every day, people go without care for treatable conditions because the system around them is too slow, too fragmented, or too hard to navigate. Honeydew exists to close that gap — building the clinical infrastructure that empowers patients to connect with great providers quickly and reliably, wherever they are.

We've already helped more than 40,000 patients get care, and we're growing 5x year over year. We're just getting started.

The Opportunity 📈

As Honeydew scales the speed at which our providers can practice, and the speed at which we can license new ones, is the engine behind that growth. You are the person who runs that engine: keeping every existing license current, owning the vendor relationship that supports it, and running the full process of getting providers licensed in new states as we expand.

What You'll Build (Your First 6 Months) 🛠

  • A renewal-tracking system with zero lapsed licenses — every provider's license flagged and renewed at least 90 days ahead of expiration.

  • A measurably faster new-state licensing process — you'll diagnose what's slow about the current approach and fix it.

  • Full ownership of provider licensing as the go-to person for renewals, new-state applications, and board communication, with escalations to leadership meaningfully reduced.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Track expiration dates across every state a provider is licensed in, submit renewal applications ahead of deadlines, and ensure continuing education requirements are met before anything lapses.

  • Run the full application process for new state licenses — gathering diplomas, DEA registration, malpractice insurance, and background checks, submitting to the state board, and following up through approval.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with our licensing vendor (Zivian), and communicate directly with individual state licensing boards to resolve issues and troubleshoot delays.

  • Maintain a real-time system of record showing every provider's license status in every state, flagging compliance gaps to leadership before they become a problem.

What We're Looking For

The Non-Negotiables:

  • 3+ years managing multi-state licensing/credentialing, tracking 50+ active licenses across 10+ states, with a near-zero lapse record

  • 2+ years owning an external vendor/agency relationship end-to-end with real accountability (SLAs, deliverables) — not just being a point of contact

  • 2+ years of direct correspondence with state regulatory/licensing boards across at least 5 states

The Nice-to-Haves:

  • Attention to detail: proven ability to track and manage dozens of moving pieces — renewal deadlines, application requirements, documentation — across multiple states without anything falling through the cracks.

  • Process and vendor management experience: demonstrated ability to own an external vendor relationship and hold it accountable, while managing the internal process end-to-end.

  • Strong written and verbal communication: comfortable navigating direct communication with state licensing boards, each with its own requirements, tone, and expectations.

  • Knowledge of state nursing boards and their individual licensing requirements

  • Experience with applying to IMLC

  • Multi-state licensing experience

You'll Thrive Here If…

  • You're a self-starter who's comfortable defining your own priorities with minimal day-to-day oversight.

  • You're analytical and organized, and genuinely enjoy continuous process improvement — spotting what's inefficient and fixing it.

  • You don't mind detail-heavy, sometimes repetitive administrative work — chasing down documents and navigating compliance paperwork doesn't wear you down.

  • You take ownership of a vendor relationship and a process end-to-end, rather than waiting to be told what's next.
