Learn more at superhuman.com and about our values here.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product development for Docs database and calculation platform team.Docs is where teams build living documents that replace scattered spreadsheets, project trackers, and internal tools with a single, flexible surface.At the heart of this experience is a powerful database architecture and formula engine — the system that lets users wire together tables, buttons, automations, and views into applications uniquely tailored to how they work.This is an opportunity to own the core platform that empowers users with the superpower of developers, all from an approachable document surface.In this role, you will:Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Docs database and calculation platformShape new product experiences for large-scale databases, including integration with new productsOwn Docs powerful formula language and calculation engineGuide performance investments across the productPartner with customers pushing Docs capabilities to the extreme, to uncover and shape new opportunitiesDesign experiences that make Docs most powerful capabilities approachable to a wide audienceMake decisions that balance user needs with technical constraintsPartner closely with a stellar engineering teamQualificationsHas at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally including database, calculation, or performance work.Technical depth: Can learn and deeply understand technical systems to anticipate and guide the implications of technical decisions on product behaviors.Reasoning: Define principles to balance flexibility with constraints that ensure a consistent and performant experience.Product sense: You’re confident in making tough product decisions in a crunch. You seek feedback from others and manage stakeholders at all levels to get to the best outcome quickly.
