Skip to main content Senior Software Engineer Vetic Gurugram, Haryana, India Apply Senior Software Engineer Vetic Gurugram, Haryana, India 12 hours ago Over 200 applicants See who Vetic has hired for this role Apply Save Report this job Direct message the job poster from Vetic Komal Khokhar Komal Khokhar Assistant Manager at Vetic | Strategic Leadership Hiring | Talent Strategy | Driving Organizational Growth Key Responsibilities:• Backend Development & System Engineering:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or FlaskBuild robust, secure, and high-performance microservices and distributed systemsOptimize application performance, database queries, and backend workflows for scalability and reliabilityIntegrate third-party services, payment gateways, analytics tools, and external APIs• Frontend & Mobile Application Development:Develop responsive and user-friendly web and mobile applications using JavaScript and FlutterBuild reusable frontend components and scalable UI architecturesCollaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences across platformsEnsure application responsiveness, performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility• Cloud, Infrastructure & Database Management:Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis for efficient data handling and cachingDeploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and related cloud infrastructureContribute to architecture discussions, technical planning, and scalability improvementsSupport CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and engineering best practices• Collaboration & Product Execution:Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and Operations to deliver high-quality product featuresParticipate in sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and release cyclesWrite clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented codeTroubleshoot production issues, debug applications, and ensure timely issue resolutionStay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and software engineering practicesRequirements:• Experience:Experience building scalable web or mobile applications in startup or product-based environments is preferredFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and collaborative engineering workflowsExposure to healthcare, consumer tech, marketplace, or high-growth startup ecosystems is a plus• Skills:Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or FlaskGood understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development conceptsExperience with Flutter for cross-platform mobile application developmentWorking knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming conceptsHands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and API integrationsUnderstanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, asynchronous processing, and scalable system designFamiliarity with AWS cloud services, deployment workflows, and monitoring toolsKnowledge of Git, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging practices• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to thrive...
