Job Description Summary
Senior Customer Account Manager for GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear’s commercial nuclear fuel joint venture (Global Nuclear Fuel). In this role you will provide primary customer interface for assigned nuclear fuel accounts. You will manage and execute complex fuel and fuel service delivery matters, develop long-term account strategic planning, and drive the overall commercial account business strategy for assigned customers.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Be the primary customer interface for assigned fuel accounts on all matters relating to fuel supply and related services, including authorization, scheduling, and delivery of design, fabrication, engineering, and licensing for those customer accounts.
- Act on GNF’s behalf and own resolution of all fuel-related customer matters. Lead executive-level customer interactions (Management Review Meetings, etc.).
- Develop and grow key customer relationships and contacts.
- Take ownership of a wide range of customer issues including product delivery, quality, outage-related items, engineering tasks, and various emergent opportunities.
- Establish and interpret fuel contract requirements; Conduct contract negotiations on auxiliary items.
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively seek orders and commitments.
- Partner with Global Nuclear Fuel (GNF) Product Managers and Product Line Leaders on development and implementation of new GNF products.
- Partner with GEV Hitachi (GVH) Nuclear Energy Sales team to assure integrated account management of GVH and GNF nuclear customers.
- Drive Safety (Integrity/Compliance), Quality (customer satisfaction CSAT), contract execution (Delivery), and Margin (Cost).
- Maintain overall project financials and monitor business health, including revenue, invoicing, and contract margin reviews.
- Provide project management and interface with Fuel Engineering Services, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, and GVH, based on business needs.
- Lead and participate in Lean projects, Kaizen events, and other quality and productivity improvement initiatives in GNF’s commercial organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in areas related to nuclear operations, nuclear products / services contract management, nuclear fuel licensing/design, nuclear fuel performance, nuclear fuel manufacturing, or quality assurance
- Minimum of 10 years of project / technical leadership and/or management experience.
Eligibility Requirements
- Ability and willingness to support customers outside regular workday hours.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 1–2 times per quarter) to customer sites.
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Experience in Project Management, contract negotiation, and administration
- Strong business acumen; ability to develop win-win solutions
- Fuel analysis and / or Fuel manufacturing experience
- Nuclear Quality experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in customer interactions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; cross-functional team experience
- Lean operational experience (lean daily management, kaizens, leader standard work)
- Demonstrated computer adeptness, including word processing, Power Point, web-based applications, and spreadsheet skills; Project Management tools including Primavera 6, PowerMax, Oracle ERP;

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $132,200.00 and $220,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
