We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Sea Logistics Sales Representative (FS-VS) to join our Ireland Sea Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that support customer growth while contributing to Kuehne+Nagel’s continued success in Ireland. Based on business needs, the position can be located in Dublin, Cork, or Shannon.
How you create impact
- Generate new business opportunities and actively identify, qualify, and convert sales leads within the Sea Logistics market.
- Build and develop long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers through regular customer engagement and face-to-face meetings.
- Understand customer supply chain requirements and create tailored logistics solutions using Kuehne+Nagel’s comprehensive service portfolio.
- Prepare, present, negotiate, and follow up on customer quotations while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver competitive solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records within CRM systems and ensure timely follow-up on customer opportunities and pricing requests.
- Successfully onboard new customers and contribute to business growth by achieving agreed sales, volume, and profitability targets.
What we would like you to bring
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or freight forwarding/logistics, ideally within Sea Logistics.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Full clean driving licence; multimodal freight forwarding knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
