Accountabilities:
- Partner with product managers to understand roadmap objectives and translate technical constraints, dependencies, and architecture considerations into effective product strategies.
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs by balancing system capabilities, engineering complexity, customer needs, and business impact.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to define project scope, manage cross-team dependencies, and proactively identify and resolve execution risks.
- Support product teams in navigating complex technical decisions and ensuring alignment across multiple platform and infrastructure initiatives.
- Establish clear success criteria, metrics, and execution plans to improve predictability and delivery outcomes.
- Work closely with teams throughout the product lifecycle, including planning, launch execution, and post-release optimization.
- Identify integration points between products and teams to ensure cohesive delivery across interconnected initiatives.
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and technical considerations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Help drive modernization efforts, system reliability improvements, and long-term architectural evolution.
- 8+ years of experience in technical product management or a similar product leadership role.
- Strong technical foundation in software engineering, infrastructure, platforms, or systems architecture.
- Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions and understand complex engineering challenges.
- Proven experience managing initiatives involving significant cross-team dependencies and technical complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of enabling successful delivery of complex initiatives with high reliability and predictable outcomes.
- Experience balancing business priorities with technical constraints and long-term product strategy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create structure from unclear requirements.
- Competitive annual salary range of $120,000 – $160,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
