The ideal candidate will be responsible for bug fixing, enhancing existing systems, and developing new features while ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions. Experience with Progress OpenEdge ABL (OOABL) and exposure to QAD ERP systems will be a an added advantage. Key Responsibilities:Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely mannerDevelop, enhance, and maintain applications using Progress OOABL and JavaParticipate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, business analysts, and stakeholdersPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsSupport production systems and provide technical assistance when requiredContribute to continuous improvement of development processesQualificationsExperience 4- 8 years Strong experience in Progress OpenEdge ABL (OOABL)Experience with at least one additional object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#, Python)Solid understanding of OOPS concepts and design principlesExperience in bug fixing, debugging, and performance tuningFamiliarity with relational databases and SQLUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)Good problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred / Good to Have:Experience or exposure to QAD ERP productsKnowledge of enterprise application architectureExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesKey Competencies:Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAdditional InformationYour health and well being are important to us at QAD.
