This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day
The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in the seamless operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments. This position coordinates Guest requests, assesses operational priorities, and allocates resources with precision—ensuring services are delivered efficiently, discreetly, and to the highest standards, resulting in an intuitive and effortless Guest experience.
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will provide refined operational support across both housekeeping and laundry functions, upholding meticulous standards and service excellence throughout the hotel. You will perform the following responsibilities to the highest luxury standards:
Ensuring consistently exceptional operating standards across all Housekeeping and Laundry areas, in full alignment with brand and hotel standards
Monitoring the presentation, performance, and conduct of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members, with a strong focus on training, alignment, and teamwork
Delivering warm, attentive, and responsive Guest service at all times
Actively coordinating room availability and release in partnership with Floor Housekeeping Supervisors to support Guest arrivals and service flow
Managing key departmental controls, including staffing levels, master key issuance, incident records, and the tracking of uniforms and linen inventory
Reviewing daily Guest information within the CRM system to ensure all preferences, requests, and special instructions are anticipated and fulfilled accurately
Coordinating floral arrangements for special occasions and arranging personalised linen services, including embroidered or bespoke items for celebrations and indulgent experiences
Managing monthly Lost & Found records, including documentation and approved donations
Inspecting uniforms daily and coordinating cleaning, repair, or replacement as required
Coordinating and controlling the flow of documentation, linen, and personnel within the department, including daily linen releases from Laundry
Overseeing the daily release and processing of Guest garments utilising the laundry service
Completing monthly Laundry expense closures and accurately managing departmental provisions
Providing operational cover for the Laundry Attendant during periods of leave, days off, or absence

Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Clear, polished verbal and written communication abilities
Previous experience in a Housekeeping or Laundry environment within a quality‑driven setting
Excellent interpersonal skills underpinned by a genuine, service‑led mindset
Intermediate proficiency in computer systems and standard office applications, including Microsoft Office
A proven commitment to delivering consistently elevated Guest service
Exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and personal presentation
It is advantageous in this position if you demonstrate the following capabilities and advantages:
