As part of the Launch Vehicle Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) team, you will move horizontally across the design teams. You will be responsible for maintaining the corresponding interfaces across the departments to ensure updated instrumentation strategy, testing, and documentation. Furthermore, you will work with all design teams to select and integrate sensor components, define operative procedures, and test the equipment before and after the integration into Spectrum.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
Support all design teams in the selection and qualification of sensors
Support the assembly, integration and testing teams in the definition of operative procedures
Establish design and operative standards for flight instrumentation
Estimate and calculate errors resulting from the measurement chain in the corresponding systems
Perform hands-on assembly and testing of instrumentation
Align with the design teams and periodically update the instrumentation list and sensor configuration files
Ensure all change requests are incorporated into the list between flights
Conduct instrumentation reviews and improve the already existing selected equipment
Perform functional and environmental qualification of the selected sensors
Assist with the integration of flight sensors to the Flight Test Instrumentation system
Qualification Checklist
